A blizzard hit Zhengzhou, central China's Henan Province, during the early hours of Monday morning. Zhengzhou Railway Bureau dispatched emergency personnel to maintain safety and remove ice and snow from the tracks. It is the city's first snowfall this winter. Some areas have seen over 20-centimeter-thick snow. The local meteorological center has issued a red alert, the highest on the warning system.
