At least three people died and dozens of communities were devastated after two rivers overflowed in the rural Bolivian province of Potosi, local authorities said Monday.
At least 25 rural communities and 1,500 families have been affected by the flooding, Juan Carlos Calvimontes, Bolivian Deputy Minister of Civil Defense, said Monday in a press conference.
