Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese president, said on Tuesday that he is ready to announce the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
Xi, who made the remarks during a meeting with Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, in Hanoi, also expressed his readiness to announce the new positioning of ties between the two parties and the two countries.
