The United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly on Tuesday to demand a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza in a strong demonstration of global support for ending the Israel-Hamas conflict. The UN body, which includes all 193 member nations, voted 153 in favor of the resolution. Ten countries, including the United States and Israel, voted against, while 23 abstained.
