Russia will not conduct a second wave of military mobilization, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday in his annual news conference.
Russia has to date recruited 486,000 people into its army under contract, he added during his annual press conference and question-and-answer session.
Putin further said that Ukraine does not wish to hold negotiations on its demilitarization and Russia has been forced to take other measures, including military ones.
