The recent snowfall in northern China's Shanxi Province has caused an increase in traffic accidents. A car crashed into the median strip on a slippery road in Yangqu County on the outskirts of the provincial capital Taiyuan, while in Yuanping City, a truck carrying 34 tonnes of gas rolled over on an icy road near a village.
