Israel agrees to open Kerem Shalom crossing for aid to enter Gaza

Israel has agreed to open a second crossing for aid to enter the Gaza Strip. The prime minister's office said in a statement that the opening of the Kerem Shalom crossing would allow Israel to maintain its commitments to permit the entry of 200 trucks of aid per day. The World Health Organization has welcomed the move as "good news."
