Wutong Mountain in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, is known as the "Lung of the City." The area is primarily inhabited by the Hakka people, a branch of the Han ethnic group with its own unique culture.
Wutong Mountain offers panoramic views of Shenzhen to the west. Thanks to China's reform and opening-up policy, Shenzhen has developed quickly over the past 45 years. In 1980, the city became China's first special economic zone. It is one of the pioneers of China's reform and opening-up and one of its youngest cities.
