2023 marks the 45th anniversary of the beginning of China's reform and opening up. After 45 years of effort, the Chinese economy has become deeply integrated with that of the rest of the world.

Fernando Munoz Bernal is a Colombian vlogger living in China for over 20 years. He has participated in and witnessed China's development.

"China's rise as a global economic powerhouse is nothing short of extraordinary. The reform and opening-up policy brings about significant societal changes for China, and a new era began since then," he said.

Regarding China's future development, Fernando believes diversifying trade partnerships, stimulating domestic consumption and conducting constructive dialogue and negotiations with the West will help China maintain its economic preeminence in the world.
