The Baltimore Ravens beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-7 at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday, securing their 11th win of the year and booking a postseason berth with three games to go.

The Ravens again showed their dominance in rushing with 42 carries, 251 yards and one touchdown. The team's quarterback (QB) Lamar Jackson completed 12 runs for 97 yards. His running back teammate Keaton Mitchell contributed 73 yards, but, unfortunately, suffered a serious knee injury in the fourth quarter. He had to be helped to the sideline by the training staff, was carted off the field and didn't return.

As an undrafted rookie from East Carolina University, Mitchell tallied 394 rushing yards and two touchdowns in right games before Sunday's injury. He became the second hit the Ravens took in the running back position after J.K. Dobbins tore his Achilles in the season opener. The team still has Gus Edwards and Justice Hill to rely on. Edwards scored a touchdown for the Ravens in the fourth period.

Compared with his dominant rushing performance, Jackson's passing was relatively mediocre. He completed 14 of his 24 passes for 171 yards and one touchdown and threw one interception in the second quarter. Tight end Isaiah Likely and wide receiver Rashod Bateman were the only two Ravens who posted over 20 receiving yards in the game. Likely scored a touchdown in the second quarter.

Compared with Jackson. Trevor Lawrence seemed to have done a passing job as the Jaguars' QB. He completed 25 of his 43 passes for 264 yards and one touchdown with no interception. He also had multiple highlights of making deep connections with wide receivers Jamal Agnew (at 65 yards) and Zay Jones (at 36 yards).

Nonetheless, Lawrence's general performance of running the Jaguars' offense was unqualifying. He had two fumbles, both happened at key points in time during his side's rally. The second one in the fourth period also enabled the Ravens to begin their offense at the Jaguars' 19 yards. The Ravens only moved three yards forward before Justin Tucker made a 34-yard field goal to extend their lead to 16 points (23-7).

Lawrence was not the only underperforming Jaguar on Sunday night. Kicker Brandon McManus missed two field goals, one from 50 yards and the other from 55 yards, both in the first quarter.
