Services at several gas stations in the Iranian capital were disrupted on Monday, Iranian state TV reported, with the cause of the disruption not immediately clear.

The disturbance has been observed in most cities of the country, Iran's Fars News Agency reported, adding that taking into account that there is a possibility of a cyber attack, measures are being taken by the Ministry of Petroleum.

Earlier, Israeli army radio said that an Israeli hacking group called Predatory Sparrow targeted the national fuel supply system of Iran.
