Dehua white porcelain has been charming traders, collectors and ordinary people since the times of the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Originating in Dehua County in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, over 400 pieces of this exquisite style of porcelain have gone on display at the National Museum of China in Beijing. Exhibits in the shapes of flowers, opera characters, tree branches and foliage have been intriguing visitors and admirers of fine things during the show's opening hours.
