Stringer Dispatch: Relief supplies arrive in NW China after M6.2 earthquake kills 127

A magnitude-6.2 earthquake jolted Jishishan County in northwest China's Gansu Province and killed 113 people in Gansu and another 14 in the neighboring Qinghai Province on December 18. The quake hit 5 kilometers from the border between Gansu and adjacent Qinghai Province. According to Yan Wei, deputy director of the Gansu Blue Sky Rescue Team's rescue center, relief supplies have arrived in Dahejia Town, the area worst hit by the earthquake in Gansu Province's Jishishan County, and the rescue team is setting up 100 tents to resettle villagers.
