A magnitude-6.2 earthquake jolted Jishishan County in northwest China's Gansu Province and killed 113 people in Gansu and another 14 in the neighboring Qinghai Province on December 18. The quake hit 5km from the border between Gansu and adjacent Qinghai Province.
Aerial footage shows that empty squares in townships have been filled with relief shelters, and the lives of residents in the affected areas are being gradually restored in an orderly manner.
