– A magnitude-6.2 earthquake jolted Jishishan County in northwest China's Gansu Province on Monday midnight at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
– The earthquake has killed 113 people in Gansu and another 31 in the neighboring Qinghai Province while hundreds others have been injured.
