The Long March-7 Y8 carrier rocket for the Tianzhou-7 mission was transferred to the Wenchang launch site in south China's Hainan Province on Thursday, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).

Final assembly and testing will be carried out later at the launch site, together with the Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft that arrived in November.

Currently, all testing systems at the launch site are gearing up for the launch as planned, said the agency.
