Complementing these visual displays, the website's "Insight" section, a 22-episode short video series, features interviews with a diverse group of esteemed guests. These include experts in ancient calligraphy and painting, philosophy scholars, traditional Chinese landscape and flower-and-bird painters, writers, naturalists, professors specializing in Chinese art history and multimedia artists. Song Dynasty painters approached their work with both aesthetic and scientific rigor. They meticulously studied the natural world, capturing the intricate structure and varied postures of sparrows with exceptional attention to detail. Their representations were not only artistically precise but also scientifically accurate, blending art and science in their pursuit of understanding and depicting the essence of their subjects. /CGTN
