The final round of the "New Era, New Shandong Cuisine" competition took place in Yantai, eastern China's Shandong Province, from Monday to Wednesday.
Some 184 innovative dishes belonging to Shandong cuisine were presented during the three-day competition round.
The "Top Ten Innovative Dishes in 2023" and "Twenty of My Favorite New Shandong Dishes" were announced at Wednesday's ceremony.
Shandong cuisine is also known as Lu cuisine and is one of the eight culinary traditions of China. This is the third year that the competition has taken place.
Over 2,000 food lovers from around the world, including Russia, the United States, Germany, Japan, and elsewhere presented their cooking in the first round of the competition.
