Multi-Oscar-winning film "La La Land" re-hits the big screen in China on Friday, December 22, on its seventh anniversary.
"La La Land" has many fans across the world, including in China, where a special screening event among industry insiders was held in Beijing days ahead, with audiences embracing its timeless romantic story.

"It's a very true life. It’s normal to have regrets and lovers are not destined to be together," Zhang Xincheng, a musical performer who admitted that he’s a loyal fan of "La La Land" and had watched it for a total of nine times.
A movie enthusiast surnamed Yu told the Beijing Youth Daily that she developed a deeper feeling for the film during her re-watching experience which also reminded her of her initial fondness of this story centered on dreams, romance and regrets.
The movie musical earned about $35 million at the box office in China during its first release in February 2017.
"La La Land" is also viewed as part of an inaugural series of re-released classic international titles in China. Recent re-releases in the Chinese market also include Titanic (1997) and Porco Rosso (1991).
