The third discharge of nuclear-contaminated water into the sea from the tsunami-damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant ended on November 20, with over 23,000 tonnes of nuclear-contaminated water being released in total. CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Peru to collect opinions on the matter. Locals shared their worries and opposition to Japan's approach. One resident said that Japan should listen to other countries before releasing nuclear-polluted water into the sea because the Pacific belongs to and affects all people.
