Nikolay Dushin is an ophthalmologist who has been studying and treating eye diseases for half a century. He devoted part of his time to working in Daqing City, in the northeastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang, training young professionals. Dushin's contribution to the development of Chinese medicine was marked by government awards – and attending a meeting with President Xi Jinping.
