Lana, a German student majoring in linguistics and Chinese, has a keen interest in Chinese culture. After graduating from high school in 2018, she spent a year at Kunyu Mountain in east China's Yantai City, immersing herself in learning and practicing kung fu, tai chi and qigong. Lana sees kung fu as a journey of discipline, pushing personal boundaries, and self-discovery. Through these practices, she gains a lot and feels a heightened sense of energy. Looking ahead, Lana eagerly anticipates returning to China to live there for a couple of years, aiming to become fluent in Chinese. Her passion extends beyond kung fu itself to encompass a love for Chinese culture, landscapes and its people.
