The third discharge of nuclear-contaminated wastewater into the sea from the tsunami-damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant ended on November 20, with over 23,000 tonnes of nuclear-contaminated water being released in total.

CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Fiji recently and collected a fisherman's opinions. David said he is angry about the discharge of nuclear-contaminated water by Japan, adding that the sea is a resource for fishermen to survive, and his business has been affected. He believes that Japan's approach is rude and self-serving.
