China has accused the United States of interfering in its internal affairs after Washington passed a new bill that promises to further arm the Taiwan region. In mid-December, the U.S. passed the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act, which vows additional military support for the Taiwan region. In response, Defense Ministry spokesperson Wu Qian on Thursday said the U.S. should stop its provocations in the Taiwan Straits.
