The Chinese armed forces are strongly dissatisfied with and firmly oppose the United States passing and signing into law the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 that contains negative China-related content, Wu Qian, a spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, said on Thursday.

The act unjustifiably plays up the so-called "China's military threat," grossly interferes in China's internal affairs and seriously undermines China's sovereignty, security and development interests, Wu said.
