Shandong Province in East China serves as one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. An exhibition focusing on Shandong's ancient history is now underway at the Tsinghua University Art Museum in Beijing.
It’s the biggest exhibition hosted by the Tsinghua University Art Museum to date. About 440 artifacts are on display, including pottery, jade, bronzeware, paintings and works of calligraphy. Nearly 200 are listed as national first-level cultural relics.
