China has rolled out a series of measures in support of the ice and snow industry. Data shows that the total value of China's winter sports is expected to reach a trillion yuan in 2025 — over $140 billion. Qu Qiang, a research fellow at Beijing Foreign Studies University, says the operation of cultural tourism needs to be improved as the ice and snow activities become popular in the country.
