CMG releases list of selected business programs in 2024

A series of programs produced by China Media Group (CMG) Business Center is slated to be released in 2024, CMG announced on Friday at a release ceremony in Beijing.

Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, attended the event and jointly unveiled a key program on Xi Jinping's Economic Thought, with Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Gao Peiyong, a faculty member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wang Yiming, vice chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, and other guests.

As the most influential platform of business reporting in China, the Business Center aims to record the path of Chinese-style modernization faithfully through high-quality and innovative programs.

A total of 28 programs, including documentaries and integrated media products, were introduced in five sections, covering economic confidence, tech innovation, investment in China, better life and business index.

With five programs, the economic confidence section recounts the achievements of China's economic development.

The section of tech innovation features 10 programs, highlighting the new industries and new models driven by scientific and technological innovation.

In the section of investment in China, five programs share the stories behind China's determination in promoting high-level opening-up, and opinions of industry leaders on China's investment opportunities.

The seven programs of the section of better life showcase how Chinese spend and enjoy their lives.

The section of business index elaborates on eight professional business indexes, giving clues of consumption scale and trends, development vitality, and investment in China.

A new think tank of CMG's Business Center was also established at the event, pooling the wisdom of top economists, scientists and influential industry leaders in China.
