The U.S. Central Command said in a statement that it had shot down one drone and one anti-ship ballistic missile in the Southern Red Sea that were fired by Yemen's Houthis between 5:45 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. (Sanaa time) on Thursday.

There was no damage to any of the 18 ships in the area and there were no injuries reported, it added.

There has been no immediate response from Yemen's Houthis.
