Home to vast grasslands and the majority of China's ethnic Kazakh population, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is one of the country's important habitats for horses. As the New Year approaches, CGTN reporter Yang Xinmeng came to Xinjiang and rode horses with ethnic Kazakh herdsmen to welcome the New Year.
