Chagan Lake in northeast China is known for its centuries-old ice fishing tradition. To celebrate a bountiful harvest, visitors and fishermen have been blessed with colorful kites in the sky for this year’s harvest carnival, enjoying the surreal scenery of fish freshly harvested out of the frozen lake while figures of octopuses and whales float above.
