Fuyuan City is located in northeastern China's Heilongjiang Province, in the triangle area where the Heilongjiang and Wusuli rivers meet. As the easternmost county-level administrative region on land in China, Fuyuan City is the first place in the country to welcome sunlight each day and is known as the "Eastern Pole of China."
