Widespread power outage hit Sudan's capital on Saturday morning as fierce fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues, damaging a power station in northern Khartoum, local media reported.
Djibouti, the current chair of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), said on Saturday that it will host a meeting of the leaders of the two warring sides next week.
Deadly clashes erupted in Khartoum and other areas on April 15.
