Chinese ambassador to U.S. urges dialogue, cooperation and stability

After listening to President Xi Jinping's speech at the central conference on work relating to foreign affairs, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng said, "The 45 years of development in Sino-U.S. relations, especially the past five years, tell us that dialogue is better than confrontation, cooperation is better than decoupling, and stability is better than turmoil."

The central conference on work relating to foreign affairs was held in Beijing from Wednesday to Thursday. Xi, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the conference.
