Xi traveled to the cities of Zhanjiang, Maoming and Guangzhou in south China's Guangdong Province in April 2023.

Xi visits a village hit by summer flooding in Mentougou, Beijing

Xi went to the areas hit by summer flooding in Beijing and neighboring Hebei Province on November 10, 2023, to visit affected people and inspect post-disaster reconstruction.

He visited Shuiyuzui Village in Beijing's Mentougou District to learn about post-flood infrastructure restoration and improvement efforts.

Xi visits state forestry area in Inner Mongolia

Xi visited north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in early June, where he traveled around the city of Bayannur from June 5 to 6, 2023.

He visited a state forestry area in Bayannur's Linhe District to learn about progress in the Three-North Shelterbelt Forest Program (TSFP). While there, he stressed the need to prevent and control desertification for the survival and development of humanity.

Xi inspected the Sinopec Jiujiang Company in Jiujiang, east China's Jiangxi Province on October 10, 2023.

Xi inspected a section of the Yangtze River National Cultural Park located in the urban area of Jiujiang and also the Sinopec Jiujiang Company, where he learned about local efforts in the construction of the park, the ecological restoration along the Yangtze River shoreline, and the petrochemical company's transformation and upgrade toward green development.
