After listening to President Xi Jinping's speech at the central conference on work relating to foreign affairs, Chinese Ambassador to South Africa Chen Xiaodong said that China-Africa relations have achieved historic progress under Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy.

The Central Conference on Work Related to Foreign Affairs was held in Beijing from December 27 to 28. Xi, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the conference.
