China's box office raked in 54.915 billion yuan (about $7.75 billion) in 2023, up 82.6 percent from 2022, according to the data released by China Film Administration on Monday.
All of the top 10 slots were taken by domestic productions, led by suspense comedy "Full River Red," sci-fi film "The Wandering Earth II" and suspense film "Lost in The Stars."
