After listening to President Xi Jinping's speech at the central conference on work relating to foreign affairs, the Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo praised the Belt and Road Initiative and said It has brought real and tangible benefits to the countries in the region.

The central conference on work relating to foreign affairs was held in Beijing from December 27 to December 28. Xi, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the conference.
