At least four people were killed and 13 others wounded in the Donetsk region as a result of shelling by Ukrainian forces on the New Year's Eve, Russia-appointed head of the region Denis Pushilin said in a Telegram post on Monday.
Ukraine has not responded to the claim yet, but its air force earlier accused Russia of launching a new overnight air attack on Mykolaiv, Dnipro and Odesa regions, killing one person in Odesa.
