India launches scientific satellite to study black holes

The Indian Space Research Organization on Monday sent the country's first X-ray polarimeter satellite, XPoSAT, into orbit from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh state.

Shuttled into orbit aboard the PSLV-C58 rocket, the satellite is expected to study celestial objects, including black holes.
