After listening to President Xi Jinping's speech at the central conference on work relating to foreign affairs, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang said, "We believe that under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, China will open up fresh prospects for major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the new journey."
The Central Conference on Work Related to Foreign Affairs was held in Beijing from December 27 to 28. Xi, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the conference.
