At least 24 people were killed in Japan's Noto Peninsula quake as more reports of damage came in and rescuers raced to find survivors on Tuesday, Kyodo News reported, citing local officials.

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare said on Tuesday that 19 medical facilities in quake-hit regions, including Niigata, Toyama, and Ishikawa prefectures, were experiencing power outages and water outages.
