At least 48 killed after quakes jolt Japan

At least 48 people, including 20 in Suzu City and 19 in Wajima City, were killed in Ishikawa Prefecture and another 16 were seriously injured after a series of earthquakes struck Japan on Monday, Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun reported Tuesday.
