Japan earthquake: Expert says severe tsunami now unlikely

Nobuhito Mori, a professor and deputy director at Kyoto University's Disaster Prevention Research Institute, told CGTN that Japan is now highly unlikely to suffer a severe tsunami after the strong earthquake that struck Ishikawa prefecture on Monday. He said the Shika nearshore nuclear plant is safe but noted that rescue and recovery efforts are likely to pose a challenge over the coming days. Click on the video for more.
