A magnitude-7.6 earthquake jolted Noto Peninsula in Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture on Monday afternoon, triggering a tsunami. The Japan Meteorological Agency has named this earthquake the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake." A CGTN stringer took to the streets of Noto for a closer look at the aftermath. Multiple areas, including Wajima City in Ishikawa, have experienced fires, power outages, road closures, house damage, and other disasters. Many residents have been evacuated.
