M5.5 quake hits Noto region, Japan

A magnitude-5.5 quake hit the Ishikawa Prefecture of the Noto region on Wednesday at around 10:54 a.m. local time, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

A massive tremor of a magnitude-7.6 earthquake rocked the same region on Monday, killing at least 64 people.
