Sayram Lake is the largest and highest alpine lake in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Located to the north of Tianshan Mountains, Sayram Lake often looks crystal blue and is known as "the last teardrop of the Atlantic."
