Tens of thousands of people have visited the new Beijing City Library since its opening on December 27, 2023 in the Chinese capital. Designed by an international architecture practice, the new landmark building in Beijing's Tongzhou District features a ginkgo tree-like canopy roof and columns, featuring photovoltaic construction elements. Beneath this palatial roof, you can seek out private spaces for reading and studying.
