Winter has seen the azure waters of Sayram Lake, surrounded by mountains and forests, covered in snow. Sayram Lake is located in the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The lake is the furthest place reached by the warm, humid air currents of the Atlantic Ocean and is known as "the last teardrop of the Atlantic."
