A report by the state-linked China Market Economics Society released last month showed the innovation development index in the country increasing by 47.6 percent in the past 10 years to 2022. John Gong, vice president of research and strategy at the University of International Business and Economics, says that hundreds of innovative programs supported and initiated by the government across major cities in China attract talents and help development.
